Rezart Taci and Taci Oil are sponsoring the Women’s World Chess Championship this week in Tirana, Albania.

In September of 2011, the National Albanian American Council hosted its annual awards ceremony dinner in New York. This year, former United Kingdom Prime Minister Tony Blair was awarded for his great contributions to the Albanian community. In attendance were the Prime Minister Tony Blair himself, US Congressman Eliot Engel, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Ambassador Philip Reeker, the President of Kosovo Atifete Jahjaga, the Prime Minister of Albania Sali Berisha, the Prime Minister of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi and the former President of Kosovo Behgjet Pacolli. Mr. Rezart Taci was the lead sponsor for the head table at this year’s ceremony.
